ART MUSEUM
The Culture Museum is housed in the 100-year-old Dr. Furr’s medical building. The Cultural museum will bring the arts to citizens in Quitman County that are not exposed to the arts, humanities, exhibitions, and collections from around the world. Q’CACM seeks to promote and support the art, artists, and art programs in our community through art education, the humanities, exhibitions, and collections.
PUBLIC ARTS
Established in 2020 as an expansion to our programs, the Public Arts Program began with a partnership with the Smithsonian Institute and the African American Arts Museum loaner’s program. Through the Public Arts program, Q’CACM will showcase various artwork from around the world, and allow Q’CACM to display local artists and their artwork to the world.
In addition to acquiring artwork, we also offer digital programming through our virtual arts and humanities tours.
